We're excited to announce enhancements to your Number Validation feature, now called Number Intelligence, designed to:

• Filter Spam Calls: Automatically flags spam calls from unknown U.S. numbers, helping you avoid interruptions.

• Identify Unknown Callers: Fetches the name of unknown callers so you can personalize your greetings.

• Validate Numbers Before SMS: Continues checking if numbers are SMS-incapable before sending.

How Does This Affect You?

Opting In: Sub-accounts already using Number Validation will start seeing the new Spam Detection and Name Lookup capabilities automatically after Monday, Dec 4th 2024. Sub-accounts that are not using Number Validation can enable it now or enable Number Intelligence later.

Costs (Agency charges below, Sub-accounts will be charged as per the SaaS rebilling you've setup):

• Spam Detection: $0.01 per call from unknown U.S. numbers.

• Name Lookup: $0.01 per call from unknown U.S. numbers.

• Number Validation: $0.005 per validation (existing charge).

Opting Out:

• Opt out now: Disable Number Validation under Sub-account Settings > Phone Numbers > Advanced Settings > SMS Compliance to avoid any related charges now and after the release.

• Opt out later: Disable Number Intelligence under Sub-account Settings > Phone Numbers > Advanced Settings > Number Intelligence to avoid any related charges after the release on Monday, Dec 4.

• Web App: Supports all 3: Spam Detection, Name Lookup and Number Validation.

• Mobile App: Supports 2: Name Lookup and Number Validation (Spam Detection coming soon).
